Terms of service

These terms cover purchases made at bonetideco.com. The Bone Tide mobile app has its own separate terms at bonetideco.com/pages/terms-of-service. By placing an order here, you agree to what follows.

1. Who you are buying from

This store is operated by Bone Tide LLC, a Georgia limited liability company, doing business as Bone Tide Co. You can reach us at support@bonetideco.com or PO Box 163, Brooklet, GA 30415.

2. Orders

Placing an order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we send your order confirmation. We may decline or cancel an order, including after confirmation, if an item is unavailable, if there is an error in the listing or price, or if we suspect fraud. If we cancel an order you already paid for, you get a full refund.

Every item is printed to order. Once printing has started we generally cannot change or cancel an order, so check your size and color before you check out.

3. Prices and errors

Prices are in US dollars and can change without notice. Sales tax is calculated and added at checkout based on your shipping address.

We try hard to keep the site accurate, but listings occasionally contain errors in price, description, availability or imagery. We reserve the right to correct any error and to cancel an affected order, even after it is placed. We are not obligated to honor an obviously incorrect price.

4. Payment

Payments are processed by Shopify and its payment partners. We never see or store your full card number. You confirm that you are authorized to use the payment method you provide.

5. Discount and reward codes

Codes earned in the Bone Tide app or issued in a promotion are subject to the terms shown when they are issued, including expiry dates and single-use limits. Codes have no cash value, cannot be sold or transferred, and may be voided if we find they were obtained through abuse of the rewards system. If a code expires unused, the bones spent on it are not returned. The redemption catalog in the app is the authoritative source for current rates.

6. Shipping and risk of loss

Shipping timelines, costs and coverage are set out in our Shipping Policy, which is part of these terms. Estimated delivery windows are estimates, not guarantees. Title and risk of loss pass to you when the carrier takes possession, but if a package is lost in transit we will still work with you on it.

7. Returns

Because every item is made to order, returns and exchanges work differently here than at a normal retailer. The full details are in our Refund Policy, which is part of these terms.

8. Our designs and marks

The Bone Tide name, logo, artwork, photography, product designs and site content belong to Bone Tide LLC or its licensors and are protected by copyright and trademark law. Buying a shirt gets you the shirt. It does not give you the right to reproduce, resell, screen print, or make derivative works from the artwork on it.

9. Using the site

Do not attempt to break into, overload, scrape at scale, or interfere with the store or anyone else's use of it. Do not use it for anything unlawful. We can suspend access if you do.

10. Third parties

Our store runs on Shopify, and our products are printed and shipped by third party print providers. Links to other sites are provided for convenience and we are not responsible for their content or practices.

11. Disclaimer

Except where the law does not allow it, the store and everything on it are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error free.

Nothing here limits any rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bone Tide LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, arising out of your use of the store or any product bought through it. Our total liability for any claim relating to an order will not exceed the amount you paid for that order.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Bone Tide LLC and its members, employees and agents from claims and costs arising out of your breach of these terms or your misuse of the store.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute that is not resolved informally will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Bulloch County, Georgia, and you and we consent to that venue.

15. Changes

We may update these terms. The version posted when you place an order is the one that applies to that order. Material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date above.
